Issue: There is a rope that leads into a pit.  Clicking on the rope states "No destination"  seems like an optional part of the quest that is broken

I want to take part in this discussion to offer a point and in my opinion the biggest point and most important of all.

PVP on this server simply can't work because there's huge imbalances in character power.

There's characters who've been around for almost a year and are near lvl 20, showered in DM loot and can one shoot you.
No matter your skill in pvp there's no way you can have a chance beat such a character unless you wait to gear up and get levels which makes the RP -stale and boring- much like Arelith is in my opinion.

Unless there's some kind of balance in power for the majority of the playerbase like EFU has because it's a pvp server, pvp can't happen.

In my 8 years of playing persistent worlds of NWN I have only won a major PvP plot with mechanical power twice.  All the other victories I have revolve around long term planning and executing intrigue which undermined the power base of the character we were targeting and eventually lead to their fall.  A level 1 CAN defeat a level 20 in PvP, but they aren't going to do it in a fair, toe-to-toe fight.

Netheril,

This land lacks law, order, justice.  It is a land built on power and the only order is the fear of said power. No lawbook to be found, no enforcement of the law, aside from whoever has a blade to force their will on others.  The powerful taking "justice" into their own hands, promoting tyranny and brutality.  But even here, there is hope.  Those who would bring order, law, justice exist.  They are a quiet voice among the roar of chaos.  I will find these voices, nurture them, and perhaps we too, will become a roar.  I will start with Hadrian.  Law, balance, fairness, it is not an impossibility.  I will uphold my task to my matron.

Her light radiated like a beam of the sun itself.  She held aloft a blazing sword in on hand and a set of scales in the other.  Her wings spread out in holy majesty and a golden glowing power emanated from her eyes.  Our heads were bowed and her voice boomed with the power which could rupture the hearts of any corrupt.  My father touched me on the shoulder and bade me forward.  His strong, comforting hand leading me to my destiny.  Five of us stepped forward, in our red and white robes and kneeled before our Lady Justice. 

Her command rang out and almost without will of our own, we rose in unison.  The more senior members stripped off our robes and laid us bare.  We were presented with basic rags and a small, dented, old breastplate.  An old hammer was placed in my hand and there we stood, apart, looking more like bandits than clerics, blazing in the light of her glory.

"The tribes of men worship the warmth of the sun, but they lack the understanding, the fairness, the mercy and the power of justice."  Her voice rang into our very souls.  We tried to look to her kind face, but the mighty of her glory forced us to avert our eyes.  "You, my children, have taken upon yourself to bring the balanced scales to the arbitrary, power-hungry, kingdoms of humanity.  Walk among them and show them the way of the light."

And with that, we bowed and marched out of the temple, biding our home farewell, for the last time.  Our long walk into the dark wilderness to bring law to the lawless, order to the chaos, light to darkness and the mercy of Lady Justice for all.  Without another word, the five of us walked into different directions, along different paths.  Mine took me to the fringes of the greatest empire of man, an empire valuing power and magic above divinity and balance.  Mine is a path with little hope, but still I march on.

Announcements / A Note on Dice Rolls

To my creative players who I love so much,

I've noticed during events there is a spam of dice rolls at random times.  A tip to you all who are doing this, I don't really know what you are trying to do.  You could be rolling spot to see what tailor made the necromancer's epic tunic or you could be rolling arcane knowledge to understand the complexities of a monster's hand gestures during spellcasting.  Instead of rolling and leaving me to guess, please send me a Tell or DM message about what you are trying to do and I'll set up a roll and DC for you.  Again, this is just me but in the havoc of a DM event I don't really know what each person is thinking and intending.  Just give me a heads up what you are doing and I'll make sure you have a roll for it.  Can't promise it will go according to plan with how many people are doing stuff but I promise I'll give you something to roll for.

Hey everyone.  I'm still catching up on the server-wide and specific plots being run but if you have something that doesn't necessarily fall into one of the story-arcs and you have a few people you'd like to take on a short one-off adventure that advances a personal plot or group plot, hit me up.  Send me a short write up of what you want to do, why you want to do it and the people you want to involve. Keep in mind, the more people you involve and the more fun you can create with this will likely improve your chances of success.  You can send them to me on discord or as a PM on the forums.  The more information you give me on the 5 W's (Who, what, where, when why) the better I can craft something for you.

Hey Everyone

I've been a player in various NWN persistent worlds for several years and have been involved in PnP RPs for most of my life. I DM DnD and Pathfinder off and on.  New to the NWN DMing but excited to get IG so expect spice and one-off adventures from me while I get a feel for things.

My favorite things to run are Suspense, Mystery, and Intrigue but I get a crazy hack and slash mood every once in a while. Expect to make use of those skill points when I'm around.  I love discussing and brainstorming any stories or ideas you have and can't wait to help you all with your character's developments.
